What to Do Today: April 6

DALLAS
It's the first Tuesday of the month, which means it's time to party down at the Dallas Museum of Art's First Tuesday celebration from 11am-2pm. Today's programming includes art-making activities, storytimes (with Arturo, shown at right), performances and gallery activities inspired by Earth Day. Kids will decorate take-home garden pots, go on animal planet family tours, make recycled puppets and more. Free.

FORT WORTH
Museum learning begins early Pictures and Pages, a special program for preschoolers and their adult caregiver 10:30-11:15am today at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. Popular children's books will inspire group conversations and simple art activities. Ages 4-6, maximum 2 children per adult, preregistration required. Free.

NORTH TEXAS
Treat your brood to Family Time at 7pm today at the Coppell Public Library! The whole family will enjoy stories, songs, crafts and more. Space is limited, so grab an admission ticket at the Information Desk before the event starts. Free.
