DALLAS
Inspire your little robot lovers with a spectator's seat at the Dallas Regional FIRST Robotics Competition 9am-5pm Friday and 9am-4:30pm Saturday in Moody Coliseum at Southern Methodist University. This high-tech sporting event will produce excitement and energy for participants and spectators alike, as teams compete for honors and recognition that reward design excellence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and more. Free.

FORT WORTH
Inspired by the life of French painter Georges Seurat, Sunday in the Park With George follows the painter's creation of his masterpiece in a story that examines what an artist has left to give when he's given everything to his art, 8pm Friday-Saturday and 3pm Sunday (through Apr 11) at Onstage in Bedford. Appropriate for older children (especially those interested in art). $15 adults; $12 seniors, Bedford residents and youth.

NORTH TEXAS
Kids of all ages will love watching a movie while splashing in the heated indoor pool at Dive-In Movies, 8pm at the Community Activity Center Pool in Flower Mound. Tonight's showing is Eight Below. $8-$4.
