FORT WORTHBrighten up the groggy weather with a trip to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden's Butterflies in the Garden exhibit, open 1-am-4pm daily. The tropical butterflies fluttering around in the garden's conservatory will dazzle kids of all ages. $1 adults; $.50 kids ages 4-12 and seniors; kids 4 and younger free.

Parents can learn hands-on methods for teaching youngsters new vocabulary words at the "Increasing Your Child's Language" presentation from 6-8pm at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound. Free.
