What to Do Today: Sept. 28

DALLAS
Make some mama friends at the Preston Hollow Area Early Childhood PTA Meeting from 9-11:30am today at Dallas' Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. The group, which is open to parents with children ages birth to 5 years old, will welcome guest speaker Cassie Reid, a counselor at Southwest Medical Center's Family Studies Center. Free.




FORT WORTH
Monday morning dawns (where did the weekend go?!) and you're already looking for something fun to do. Why not check out Toddler Time Hurst, a fun storytime for children ages 1-3 and their caregivers at 10am today at the Hurst Public Library. It's sure to help your Monday morning soar by! Free.



NORTH TEXAS
Ready for a fun fall field trip? Pack up the kids and head to the Dallas Arboretum for the Great Pumpkin Festival from 9am-5pm today (and continuing daily through Nov. 1). You'll see a cool pumpkin house and enjoy tasty treats, live entertainment and more. $9.50 adults; $8 seniors; $6 children ages 3-12; children younger than 3 free.
