What to Do Today: Oct. 29

DALLAS
Get your country music fix with the Big D Opry at 7:30pm today at Gilley's in Dallas. The family-friendly show will include country, bluegrass and gospel music from musicians including Ty Herndon, Luke Barr and Brittnee Lee. $18 adults; $10 children.


FORT WORTH
Celebrate Halloween early with Spooky Stories Under the Stars at 6pm today at the Euless Public Library. This storytime for children of all ages will include creepy tales, a fun craft and yummy Halloween treats. Free.


NORTH TEXAS
Get all decked out in your Halloween costume and head to Boo at the U from 6-8pm today at Texas Woman's University's Student Union in Denton. Kids will "trunk or treat" at decorated cars parked around TWU's horseshoe-shaped driveway before enjoying train rides, carnival games, a haunted house and more. Free.
