What to Do Today: Sept. 16

DALLAS
Get a dollop of Southern charm with an Author Signing by Jamie and Bobby Deen at 7pm today at Dallas' Borders Bookstore Preston and Royal. The chefs and Food Network stars (sons of Southern super chef Paula Deen) will discuss and sign copies of their new family-friendly cookbook. Free.



FORT WORTH
Children ages 3-7 will come together for stories and fun activities at Listener Time Arlington Central Branch at 10 and 11am today (and every Wednesday through Nov. 25) at the George W. Hawkes Central Library. And while the kids are busy listening, you can sneak off to the periodicals section to catch up on your favorite magazines! Free.



NORTH TEXAS
Take a field trip to see a Texas Rangers Home Game at 7:05pm today at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The hometown team will take on the Seattle Mariners in exciting Major League action. Don't forget the peanuts and Cracker Jack! Tickets start at $3.
